My friend Amy just had her third baby, a precious little boy! She let me practice some baby photography on him today. He is a perfect little model!

I was thrilled when Amber asked me to take her maternity photos! Amber was my sweet mate in college and never lacked encouraging words. It was a joy catching up with her and meeting her wonderful husband. Amber is so cute pregnant and I can’t wait to meet their sweet little girl.

This past weekend, we had a group of friends out for some family photos, pizza and a campfire. We had a blast! From the way we’re dressed one would assume it was cold out, not so! We were actually sweating and fighting the mosquitoes. Gotta love Texas weather!

This is so typical, right as I began taking Ben & Meg’s family photo, the youngest spit up all over his pants and Abby’s nose started to bleed! Thankfully, Caroline’s old blankie came to the rescue. We were able to clean them all up for the rest of the photos.

David had the great idea of climbing up onto the old railroad bridge for pictures. It was a little high and you could see through the railroad ties to the ground below. But with a lot of help, we managed to all climb and hoist the little ones up for the shot. It was worth it!

I’m thankful for such amazing friends and a Saturday full of memories.

Alisa and I both went to Howard Payne University. We had many elementary education classes together. Alisa is probably the sweetest person I know. Having not seen each other since graduation, we randomly ran into each other 2 years ago at a festival and discovered that we lived in the same town. It’s been a joy reconnecting with Alisa and meeting her precious family. Their little boy Blake is 1 week older than Caroline. Blake was such a good little boy that day. While we were taking pictures, a nice lady stood by and got Blake to smile for the camera!

I met Katie through my sister and this year I’ve had the blessing of being in the same BSF class with her. Her family is so sweet and the girls are adorable! It was a joy taking their photos. Here’s a sneak peek for their family!

I still refer to her as Mrs. Cowan. I’ve known her almost all my life and she’s an amazing pilate’s instructor in DeSoto, Texas. Her studio is called, “Upstairs Pilates.” I enjoyed photographing her and the studio. I hope to one day be half as fit as Mrs. Cowan!!

I couldn’t resist posting this photo of my children’s names spelled out of Cheez-it’s Scrabble Crackers. I saw these crackers this summer and was wanting to take a picture of their names but the boys ate all the letters before I could get a picture. I couldn’t find them again for the longest time until this week. Thankfully I managed to get a photo in before they all disappeared!
